Article 46 - Public equity support tool
1.
Public financial support may be provided for the recapitalisation of a CCP in exchange for instruments of ownership.
2.
CCPs subject to the public equity support tool shall be managed on a commercial and professional basis.
3.
The instruments of ownership referred to in paragraph 1 shall be sold to a private purchaser as soon as commercial and financial circumstances allow.
