Article 34 - Powers and competences of ESMA
1.
ESMA shall have the powers necessary to carry out the tasks attributed to it by this Regulation.
2.
ESMA’s powers in accordance with Directive 2011/61/EU shall also be exercised with respect to this Regulation and in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
3.
For the purposes of Regulation (EU) No 1095/2010, this Regulation shall be understood as a further legally binding Union act which confers tasks on ESMA as referred to in 2010.
